How To Uninstall folks-common On Debian 9

To uninstall folks-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just folks-common

library to aggregates people into metacontacts (common files)Debian 9.0libs0.11.3-2
sudo apt-get remove folks-common

This will remove just the folks-common package itself.

Uninstall folks-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove folks-common

This will remove the folks-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for folks-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge folks-common

Or similarly, like this folks-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove folks-common
