How To Uninstall folks-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall folks-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just folks-tools

Telepathy backend for libfolks - database and import toolsDebian 9.0utils0.11.3-2
sudo apt-get remove folks-tools

This will remove just the folks-tools package itself.

Uninstall folks-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove folks-tools

This will remove the folks-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for folks-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge folks-tools

Or similarly, like this folks-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove folks-tools
