How To Uninstall font-manager On Debian 9

To uninstall font-manager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just font-manager

font management application for the GNOME desktopDebian 9.0graphics0.7.3-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove font-manager

This will remove just the font-manager package itself.

Uninstall font-manager and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove font-manager

This will remove the font-manager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for font-manager then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge font-manager

Or similarly, like this font-manager

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove font-manager
