How To Uninstall fontforge-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall fontforge-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fontforge-dbg

debugging symbols for fontforgeDebian 9.0debug1:20161005~dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove fontforge-dbg

This will remove just the fontforge-dbg package itself.

Uninstall fontforge-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fontforge-dbg

This will remove the fontforge-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fontforge-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fontforge-dbg

Or similarly, like this fontforge-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fontforge-dbg
