How To Uninstall fonts-ancient-scripts On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-ancient-scripts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-ancient-scripts

Unicode Fonts for Ancient ScriptsDebian 9.0fonts2.59-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-ancient-scripts

This will remove just the fonts-ancient-scripts package itself.

Uninstall fonts-ancient-scripts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-ancient-scripts

This will remove the fonts-ancient-scripts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-ancient-scripts then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-ancient-scripts

Or similarly, like this fonts-ancient-scripts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-ancient-scripts
