How To Uninstall fonts-arabeyes On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-arabeyes just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-arabeyes

Arabeyes GPL TrueType Arabic fontsDebian 9.0fonts2.1-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-arabeyes

This will remove just the fonts-arabeyes package itself.

Uninstall fonts-arabeyes and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-arabeyes

This will remove the fonts-arabeyes package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-arabeyes then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-arabeyes

Or similarly, like this fonts-arabeyes

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-arabeyes
