How To Uninstall fonts-dejima-mincho On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-dejima-mincho just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-dejima-mincho

antique-looking Japanese TrueType Mincho fontDebian 9.0fonts227-14
sudo apt-get remove fonts-dejima-mincho

This will remove just the fonts-dejima-mincho package itself.

Uninstall fonts-dejima-mincho and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-dejima-mincho

This will remove the fonts-dejima-mincho package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-dejima-mincho then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-dejima-mincho

Or similarly, like this fonts-dejima-mincho

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-dejima-mincho
