How To Uninstall fonts-droid-fallback On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-droid-fallback just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-droid-fallback

handheld device font with extensive style and language support (fallback)Debian 9.0fonts1:6.0.1r16-1.1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-droid-fallback

This will remove just the fonts-droid-fallback package itself.

Uninstall fonts-droid-fallback and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-droid-fallback

This will remove the fonts-droid-fallback package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-droid-fallback then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-droid-fallback

Or similarly, like this fonts-droid-fallback

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-droid-fallback
