How To Uninstall fonts-elusive-icons On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-elusive-icons just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-elusive-icons

the iconic font and CSS frameworkDebian 9.0fonts2.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-elusive-icons

This will remove just the fonts-elusive-icons package itself.

Uninstall fonts-elusive-icons and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-elusive-icons

This will remove the fonts-elusive-icons package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-elusive-icons then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-elusive-icons

Or similarly, like this fonts-elusive-icons

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-elusive-icons
