How To Uninstall fonts-fanwood On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-fanwood just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-fanwood

font similar to the Fairfield fontDebian 9.0fonts1.1-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-fanwood

This will remove just the fonts-fanwood package itself.

Uninstall fonts-fanwood and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-fanwood

This will remove the fonts-fanwood package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-fanwood then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-fanwood

Or similarly, like this fonts-fanwood

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-fanwood
