How To Uninstall fonts-gargi On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-gargi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-gargi

OpenType Devanagari fontDebian 9.0fonts2.0-4
sudo apt-get remove fonts-gargi

This will remove just the fonts-gargi package itself.

Uninstall fonts-gargi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-gargi

This will remove the fonts-gargi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-gargi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-gargi

Or similarly, like this fonts-gargi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-gargi
