How To Uninstall fonts-gfs-gazis On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-gfs-gazis just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-gfs-gazis

ancient Greek font (Byzantine cursive hand style)Debian 9.0fonts1.1-5
sudo apt-get remove fonts-gfs-gazis

This will remove just the fonts-gfs-gazis package itself.

Uninstall fonts-gfs-gazis and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-gfs-gazis

This will remove the fonts-gfs-gazis package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-gfs-gazis then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-gfs-gazis

Or similarly, like this fonts-gfs-gazis

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-gfs-gazis
