How To Uninstall fonts-gujr On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-gujr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-gujr

Meta package to install all Gujarati fontsDebian 9.0fonts2:1.2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-gujr

This will remove just the fonts-gujr package itself.

Uninstall fonts-gujr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-gujr

This will remove the fonts-gujr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-gujr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-gujr

Or similarly, like this fonts-gujr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-gujr
