How To Uninstall fonts-guru-extra On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-guru-extra just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-guru-extra

Free fonts for Punjabi languageDebian 9.0fonts2.0-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-guru-extra

This will remove just the fonts-guru-extra package itself.

Uninstall fonts-guru-extra and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-guru-extra

This will remove the fonts-guru-extra package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-guru-extra then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-guru-extra

Or similarly, like this fonts-guru-extra

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-guru-extra
