How To Uninstall fonts-ipaexfont On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-ipaexfont just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-ipaexfont

Japanese OpenType font, all IPAex FontsDebian 9.0fonts00301-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-ipaexfont

This will remove just the fonts-ipaexfont package itself.

Uninstall fonts-ipaexfont and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-ipaexfont

This will remove the fonts-ipaexfont package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-ipaexfont then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-ipaexfont

Or similarly, like this fonts-ipaexfont

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-ipaexfont
