How To Uninstall fonts-jsmath On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-jsmath just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-jsmath

TeX fonts to display jsMath pagesDebian 9.0fonts0.090709+0-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-jsmath

This will remove just the fonts-jsmath package itself.

Uninstall fonts-jsmath and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-jsmath

This will remove the fonts-jsmath package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-jsmath then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-jsmath

Or similarly, like this fonts-jsmath

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-jsmath
