How To Uninstall fonts-kacst On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-kacst just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-kacst

KACST free TrueType Arabic fontsDebian 9.0fonts2.01+mry-12
sudo apt-get remove fonts-kacst

This will remove just the fonts-kacst package itself.

Uninstall fonts-kacst and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-kacst

This will remove the fonts-kacst package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-kacst then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-kacst

Or similarly, like this fonts-kacst

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-kacst
