How To Uninstall fonts-knda On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-knda just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-knda

Meta package for Kannada fontsDebian 9.0fonts2:1.2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-knda

This will remove just the fonts-knda package itself.

Uninstall fonts-knda and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-knda

This will remove the fonts-knda package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-knda then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-knda

Or similarly, like this fonts-knda

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-knda
