How To Uninstall fonts-lao On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-lao just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-lao

TrueType font for Lao languageDebian 9.0fonts0.0.20060226-9
sudo apt-get remove fonts-lao

This will remove just the fonts-lao package itself.

Uninstall fonts-lao and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-lao

This will remove the fonts-lao package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-lao then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-lao

Or similarly, like this fonts-lao

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-lao
