How To Uninstall fonts-linuxlibertine On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-linuxlibertine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-linuxlibertine

Linux Libertine family of fontsDebian 9.0fonts5.3.0-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-linuxlibertine

This will remove just the fonts-linuxlibertine package itself.

Uninstall fonts-linuxlibertine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-linuxlibertine

This will remove the fonts-linuxlibertine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-linuxlibertine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-linuxlibertine

Or similarly, like this fonts-linuxlibertine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-linuxlibertine
