How To Uninstall fonts-mathjax-extras On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-mathjax-extras just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-mathjax-extras

JavaScript display engine for LaTeX and MathML (extra fonts)Debian 9.0fonts2.7.0-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-mathjax-extras

This will remove just the fonts-mathjax-extras package itself.

Uninstall fonts-mathjax-extras and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-mathjax-extras

This will remove the fonts-mathjax-extras package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-mathjax-extras then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-mathjax-extras

Or similarly, like this fonts-mathjax-extras

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-mathjax-extras
