How To Uninstall fonts-misaki On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-misaki just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-misaki

Japanese Gothic and Mincho font from "Misaki" bitmap fontDebian 9.0fonts20150410-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-misaki

This will remove just the fonts-misaki package itself.

Uninstall fonts-misaki and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-misaki

This will remove the fonts-misaki package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-misaki then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-misaki

Or similarly, like this fonts-misaki

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-misaki
