How To Uninstall fonts-mlym On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-mlym just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-mlym

Meta package to install all Malayalam fontsDebian 9.0fonts2:1.2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-mlym

This will remove just the fonts-mlym package itself.

Uninstall fonts-mlym and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-mlym

This will remove the fonts-mlym package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-mlym then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-mlym

Or similarly, like this fonts-mlym

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-mlym
