How To Uninstall fonts-mmcedar On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-mmcedar just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-mmcedar

MMCedar is a combined font that uses Motoya L Cedar and M+ fonts.Debian 9.0fonts20101113a-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-mmcedar

This will remove just the fonts-mmcedar package itself.

Uninstall fonts-mmcedar and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-mmcedar

This will remove the fonts-mmcedar package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-mmcedar then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-mmcedar

Or similarly, like this fonts-mmcedar

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-mmcedar
