How To Uninstall fonts-monapo On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-monapo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-monapo

Japanese TrueType font, MonapoDebian 9.0fonts20090423-12
sudo apt-get remove fonts-monapo

This will remove just the fonts-monapo package itself.

Uninstall fonts-monapo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-monapo

This will remove the fonts-monapo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-monapo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-monapo

Or similarly, like this fonts-monapo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-monapo
