How To Uninstall fonts-nanum On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-nanum just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-nanum

Nanum Korean fontsDebian 9.0fonts20140930-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-nanum

This will remove just the fonts-nanum package itself.

Uninstall fonts-nanum and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-nanum

This will remove the fonts-nanum package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-nanum then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-nanum

Or similarly, like this fonts-nanum

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-nanum
