How To Uninstall fonts-noto-mono On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-noto-mono just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-noto-mono

"No Tofu" monospaced font family with large Unicode coverageDebian 9.0fonts20161116-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-noto-mono

This will remove just the fonts-noto-mono package itself.

Uninstall fonts-noto-mono and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-noto-mono

This will remove the fonts-noto-mono package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-noto-mono then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-noto-mono

Or similarly, like this fonts-noto-mono

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-noto-mono
