How To Uninstall fonts-opendyslexic On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-opendyslexic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-opendyslexic

font designed to increase readability for readers with dyslexiaDebian 9.0fonts20160623-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-opendyslexic

This will remove just the fonts-opendyslexic package itself.

Uninstall fonts-opendyslexic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-opendyslexic

This will remove the fonts-opendyslexic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-opendyslexic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-opendyslexic

Or similarly, like this fonts-opendyslexic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-opendyslexic
