How To Uninstall fonts-oxygen On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-oxygen just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-oxygen

Oxygen font familyDebian 9.0fonts4:5.4.3-3
sudo apt-get remove fonts-oxygen

This will remove just the fonts-oxygen package itself.

Uninstall fonts-oxygen and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-oxygen

This will remove the fonts-oxygen package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-oxygen then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-oxygen

Or similarly, like this fonts-oxygen

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-oxygen
