How To Uninstall fonts-pecita On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-pecita just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-pecita

OpenType hand-written font whose letters are connectedDebian 9.0fonts5.4-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-pecita

This will remove just the fonts-pecita package itself.

Uninstall fonts-pecita and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-pecita

This will remove the fonts-pecita package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-pecita then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-pecita

Or similarly, like this fonts-pecita

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-pecita
