How To Uninstall fonts-play On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-play just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-play

minimalistic sans serif typefaceDebian 9.0fonts1.002+20111215.1+ds2-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-play

This will remove just the fonts-play package itself.

Uninstall fonts-play and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-play

This will remove the fonts-play package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-play then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-play

Or similarly, like this fonts-play

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-play
