How To Uninstall fonts-roboto-fontface On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-roboto-fontface just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-roboto-fontface

largely geometric, friendly and open curves fontDebian 9.0fonts0.4.3-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-roboto-fontface

This will remove just the fonts-roboto-fontface package itself.

Uninstall fonts-roboto-fontface and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-roboto-fontface

This will remove the fonts-roboto-fontface package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-roboto-fontface then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-roboto-fontface

Or similarly, like this fonts-roboto-fontface

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-roboto-fontface
