How To Uninstall fonts-roboto-unhinted On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-roboto-unhinted just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-roboto-unhinted

Google's signature family of fonts (unhinted)Debian 9.0fonts2:0~20160106-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-roboto-unhinted

This will remove just the fonts-roboto-unhinted package itself.

Uninstall fonts-roboto-unhinted and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-roboto-unhinted

This will remove the fonts-roboto-unhinted package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-roboto-unhinted then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-roboto-unhinted

Or similarly, like this fonts-roboto-unhinted

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-roboto-unhinted
