How To Uninstall fonts-samyak-gujr On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-samyak-gujr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-samyak-gujr

Samyak TrueType font for Gujarati languageDebian 9.0fonts1.2.2-4
sudo apt-get remove fonts-samyak-gujr

This will remove just the fonts-samyak-gujr package itself.

Uninstall fonts-samyak-gujr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-samyak-gujr

This will remove the fonts-samyak-gujr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-samyak-gujr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-samyak-gujr

Or similarly, like this fonts-samyak-gujr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-samyak-gujr
