How To Uninstall fonts-sarai On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-sarai just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-sarai

truetype font for devanagari scriptDebian 9.0fonts1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-sarai

This will remove just the fonts-sarai package itself.

Uninstall fonts-sarai and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-sarai

This will remove the fonts-sarai package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-sarai then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-sarai

Or similarly, like this fonts-sarai

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-sarai
