How To Uninstall fonts-taml-tscu On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-taml-tscu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-taml-tscu

TSCu family of non Unicode fonts for Tamil scriptDebian 9.0fonts1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-taml-tscu

This will remove just the fonts-taml-tscu package itself.

Uninstall fonts-taml-tscu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-taml-tscu

This will remove the fonts-taml-tscu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-taml-tscu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-taml-tscu

Or similarly, like this fonts-taml-tscu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-taml-tscu
