How To Uninstall fonts-vollkorn On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-vollkorn just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-vollkorn

serif body text typeDebian 9.0fonts3.005-1
sudo apt-get remove fonts-vollkorn

This will remove just the fonts-vollkorn package itself.

Uninstall fonts-vollkorn and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-vollkorn

This will remove the fonts-vollkorn package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-vollkorn then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-vollkorn

Or similarly, like this fonts-vollkorn

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-vollkorn
