How To Uninstall fonts-wine On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-wine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-wine

Windows API implementation - fontsDebian 9.0fonts1.8.7-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-wine

This will remove just the fonts-wine package itself.

Uninstall fonts-wine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-wine

This will remove the fonts-wine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-wine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-wine

Or similarly, like this fonts-wine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-wine
