How To Uninstall fonts-wqy-microhei On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-wqy-microhei just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-wqy-microhei

Sans-serif style CJK font derived from DroidDebian 9.0fonts0.2.0-beta-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-wqy-microhei

This will remove just the fonts-wqy-microhei package itself.

Uninstall fonts-wqy-microhei and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-wqy-microhei

This will remove the fonts-wqy-microhei package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-wqy-microhei then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-wqy-microhei
