How To Uninstall forensics-colorize On Debian 9

To uninstall forensics-colorize just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just forensics-colorize

show differences between files using color graphicsDebian 9.0utils1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove forensics-colorize

This will remove just the forensics-colorize package itself.

Uninstall forensics-colorize and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove forensics-colorize

This will remove the forensics-colorize package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for forensics-colorize then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge forensics-colorize

Or similarly, like this forensics-colorize

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove forensics-colorize
