How To Uninstall forked-daapd On Debian 9

To uninstall forked-daapd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just forked-daapd

DAAP/DACP (iTunes) server, support for AirPlay and Roku devicesDebian 9.0sound24.2-2
sudo apt-get remove forked-daapd

This will remove just the forked-daapd package itself.

Uninstall forked-daapd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove forked-daapd

This will remove the forked-daapd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for forked-daapd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge forked-daapd

Or similarly, like this forked-daapd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove forked-daapd
