How To Uninstall foxtrotgps On Debian 9

To uninstall foxtrotgps just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just foxtrotgps

GTK+ mapping and GPS applicationDebian 9.0comm1.2.0-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove foxtrotgps

This will remove just the foxtrotgps package itself.

Uninstall foxtrotgps and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove foxtrotgps

This will remove the foxtrotgps package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for foxtrotgps then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge foxtrotgps

Or similarly, like this foxtrotgps

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove foxtrotgps
