How To Uninstall fpart On Debian 9

To uninstall fpart just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fpart

sort file trees and pack them into bagsDebian 9.0misc0.9.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove fpart

This will remove just the fpart package itself.

Uninstall fpart and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fpart

This will remove the fpart package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fpart then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fpart

Or similarly, like this fpart

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fpart
