How To Uninstall fpga-icestorm On Debian 9

To uninstall fpga-icestorm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fpga-icestorm

sudo apt-get remove fpga-icestorm

This will remove just the fpga-icestorm package itself.

Uninstall fpga-icestorm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fpga-icestorm

This will remove the fpga-icestorm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fpga-icestorm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fpga-icestorm

Or similarly, like this fpga-icestorm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fpga-icestorm
