How To Uninstall fpgatools On Debian 9

To uninstall fpgatools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fpgatools

tool to program field-programmable gate arraysDebian 9.0utils0.0+201212-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove fpgatools

This will remove just the fpgatools package itself.

Uninstall fpgatools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fpgatools

This will remove the fpgatools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fpgatools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fpgatools

Or similarly, like this fpgatools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fpgatools
