How To Uninstall fprintd-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall fprintd-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fprintd-doc

development documentation for fprintdDebian 9.0doc0.7.0-1
sudo apt-get remove fprintd-doc

This will remove just the fprintd-doc package itself.

Uninstall fprintd-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fprintd-doc

This will remove the fprintd-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fprintd-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fprintd-doc

Or similarly, like this fprintd-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fprintd-doc
