How To Uninstall fprobe-ng On Debian 9

To uninstall fprobe-ng just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fprobe-ng

export captured traffic to remote NetFlow Collector (meta)Debian 9.0net1.1-7.3
sudo apt-get remove fprobe-ng

This will remove just the fprobe-ng package itself.

Uninstall fprobe-ng and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fprobe-ng

This will remove the fprobe-ng package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fprobe-ng then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fprobe-ng

Or similarly, like this fprobe-ng

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fprobe-ng
