How To Uninstall freebsd-manpages On Debian 9

To uninstall freebsd-manpages just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freebsd-manpages

Manual pages for a GNU/kFreeBSD systemDebian 9.0doc11.0-1
sudo apt-get remove freebsd-manpages

This will remove just the freebsd-manpages package itself.

Uninstall freebsd-manpages and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freebsd-manpages

This will remove the freebsd-manpages package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freebsd-manpages then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freebsd-manpages

Or similarly, like this freebsd-manpages

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freebsd-manpages
