How To Uninstall freebsd-mk On Debian 9

To uninstall freebsd-mk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freebsd-mk

FreeBSD makefile templates for bmakeDebian 9.0devel10.3~svn296373-6
sudo apt-get remove freebsd-mk

This will remove just the freebsd-mk package itself.

Uninstall freebsd-mk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freebsd-mk

This will remove the freebsd-mk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freebsd-mk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freebsd-mk

Or similarly, like this freebsd-mk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freebsd-mk
