How To Uninstall freedoom On Debian 9

To uninstall freedoom just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freedoom

two single player campaigns for Doom-compatible enginesDebian 9.0games0.10.1-2
sudo apt-get remove freedoom

This will remove just the freedoom package itself.

Uninstall freedoom and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freedoom

This will remove the freedoom package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freedoom then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freedoom

Or similarly, like this freedoom

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freedoom
